vernacular schools

nanthini:vernacular schools should exist??whats your opinion???!!!

    my opinion is NO....i don’t believe that only one language can unite the people. I think that the more languages the children learn the better it is. In vernacular schools they learn everything. In Chinese schools they have Chinese students as well as Indians and Malays. When the children mingle they learn from each other the different cultures.tq

    as my opinion,i also agrre with nanthini opinion,..not only there learn different culturers ,the sametime the learn different languages,shring theirs ideas about one topic n improve their self.

    that's true malathi...vernacular school encourage other races to study.its also can make unity among all students.furthermore,they can learn extra language.

    in my opinion vernucalar schools should exist because it will help the students to learn and engage the students to their cultare and tradition better. if not the wont be expose to thier culture and dont know nothing about their culture. about languages students are being tought the languages that are soppossed to be tought in schools so students will learn and will be expose to the languages. thank you

    in my opinion the vernacular schools should exist bacause it will hell students to learn other races culture and tradition. vernacular school also help the students to improve their communication skills in plural society...

    me also agree with nanthini that not only one language will unite the people.there can be 3 religion student in one school.no need to have vernacular schools.they also can continue their culture and share with others student in one school.

    (The question is:Do you think the vernacular school should be allowed to esits? Yes/No.Explain.)
    In my opinion,I think the answer is no because the unity cannot be fostered without direct intermingling with one other. Moreover,the social harmony cannot be created if each race is segregated according to their vernacular school.Hence,the patriotism can only be instilled if the students are pooled together with the singular aim to integrated one another towards cohesive nation building effort.

    No.What you says is true ,Nandhini. One language can't make the different races become unite. This is because they only can learn one language and will be using the language in a particular time only. One language indirectly separate the one unity among students.For example, When they meet the same races they will communicate using their own mother tongue language.If they get oppurtunity to learn different races languages, its help the students to communicate very well with other draces of friends.

    hai frens in my opinion vernacular schools must be implemented and its is important becoz:
    1)protect mother tounge
    2)avoid miss-use of some authority peoples positions
    3)to ensure the student well understand with the task that be taught in school coz its easy to learn in mother tounge coz its practised since childrens was born
    4)to protect non-muslim teachers numbers
    (by limits the place of non muslim teachers in maktab and universities in education course its may bring to conflicts amoung malaysianss.
    5)and so on

    I think vernacular school should be exist because it can help to reunite the students to consolidate unity in variety races.This is because nowdays in a vernacular school there are 3 races studying in a school.The trends are changing.Besides that,vernacular school can also enhance considirate attitudes toward other religions and races.
