Research on this topics by week 7's class [4.3.2010].
What is history and it is important? History is a branch of past event.As an educator we should the the past events that realy happen. When we know the past events we would not repeat the same mistake in past. During the British occupation of Malaya, the British was introduce various types of vernacular schools.They were the English-medium, Malay-medium, Chinese-medium and Tamil-medium schools. Each used different mediums of instruction and provided a different syllabus. So, there are no communication among all races.British introduce the separate education system because they does not intend to establish rapport between the different races in Malaya through a standardized education system.
